The people who were laid off,
for the most part, were very talented skilled people. They were just
specialized to jobs that SpaceX no longer needs. If they could be retrained at
all, it would probably have been as expensive as hiring new people (and new
people are preferable because they bring in new ideas). Similar restructuring
