Watching him on oxygen the last year or so, and continuing to smoke, was brutal. I was also going on I say the death of my parents. Both had cancer. One did not want me to be there, she was comfortable, but angry and depressed about her cheated time right till the end. We couldn’t even get her to talk to us, she was so mad at the world. In a way I always felt cheated that we never even had a chance to come to terms with what was happening.
